Loan Closer

CSP is partnering with a privately held real estate lender in their search for a Loan Closer. This individual will be an integral member of the team, responsible for preparing, verifying, and finalizing loan packages before disbursement of funds. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the timely closing of loans.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review and verify loan documents for completeness and accuracy.

· Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, title companies and borrowers to obtain any missing documentation or clarification.

· Prepare closing packages in accordance with lender guidelines and regulatory requirements.

· Schedule and facilitate the closing process, ensuring all parties are informed of their roles and responsibilities.

· Ensure the accurate disbursement of loan proceeds.

· Confirm all necessary documents are signed, notarized, and returned promptly.

· Resolve any issues or discrepancies identified prior to, during, or post-closing.

· Update and maintain accurate records in the company provided customer relationship manager (CRM) system.

· Stay updated with the latest industry standards, trends, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

· A minimum of two (2) years' experience as a Loan Closer or in a related role.

· Proficient knowledge of state and federal regulations related to real estate lending.

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

· Proficiency with technology software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously. xhyhwjd

· Familiarity with private money lending practices is a plus.
