Part‑Time Retail Sales Associate $14.00 to $17.00 per hour Commission structure pays you for every transaction processed. Auto‑enrollment in the FirstCash 401k program after six months of employment. Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, part‑time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise. Responsibilities of a Part‑Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate (Representative list; other duties may be assigned.) Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Performs non‑management open/close procedures. Maintains sales floor cleanliness, restocking, and product display. Completes sales and loan transactions per established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulations. Answers incoming calls according to company standards. Communicates to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using effective communication tools. Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience. Successfully completes all assigned training. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification. May be asked to assist a customer on the exterior of the building or retrieve products stored in exterior storage. Minimum age 18 years. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient in basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate. Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office machines. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Commission Plan Information The commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers may earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance.
