RN - Hospice

Home Health Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with weekends and holidays in rotation.

We are seeking a dedicated Home Health Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to our patients in a variety of settings, including both rural and urban areas. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to handle diverse driving conditions and have proficiency in navigation to ensure timely visits to patients. This position requires flexibility, as it involves weekend and holiday rotations, as well as potential on-call duties.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adult patients in their homes, following established protocols.
• Manage hospice patients, ensuring comfort and quality of life.
• Utilize a point system to manage patient visits efficiently.
• Complete necessary documentation using the computerized charting system.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols, especially during inclement weather.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1 year of Home Health experience required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
• COVID-19 vaccination(s) required.
• Must hold a valid nursing license.
