Food Runner
The Food Runner assists the servers by delivering food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of dishes. This role helps maintain a smooth dining experience by supporting the front-of-house team and communicating with the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Ensure orders are complete and accurate before leaving the kitchen
- Deliver dishes to the correct tables promptly
- Communicate any special instructions or modifications to guests
- Assist servers by clearing dishes and replenishing table settings
- Refill water and beverages as needed
- Keep service stations stocked and clean
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food flow
- Uphold sanitation and safety standards throughout service
Requirements
- Ability to carry heavy trays and navigate through a busy restaurant
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
