Based in the West Loop area, our new cutting-edge design, The Texan Taco bar, is an up-and-coming Tex-Mex inspired cuisine that offers remarkable service with 2 floors of dining experience, including a patio and retractable rooftop overlooking Randolph Street.

Our ideal food runner is responsible for overseeing all carry out orders in addition to food running for in house customers at our tables. This will also involve double checking each food order to ensure accuracy. We are looking for passionate industry professionals.

Responsibilities

• Getting food to the proper table at the right time
• Clearing dirty plates and silverware as well as polishing
• Stocking the kitchen expediting area
• Assisting chefs with orders
• Packing up takeout orders
• Responding to other guest needs
• Maintaining a clean working area

Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Ability to stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours or as needed
• Aloha POS and Open Table knowledge is a plus!
• A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all restaurant staff
• Must have a great sense of hospitality and understand how it impacts on our business
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
