Traveler Nurse Position

Description: Please make sure your traveler will not request shift accommodations during interview. Traveler must be able to work posted schedule as needed.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD/INTERVIEW WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted (less is better).

"Local" travelers - who reside within 50 miles of facility, will not be considered for this need

• Ability to formulate an individual plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment and evaluate overall plan for effectiveness.
• Coordinates and supervises patient care, as necessary.
• Demonstrates an ability to organize and prioritize job function.
• Utilizes assessment data to identify patient care needs, to include patient education and discharge planning.
• Recognizes and reports abnormal assessment data and incorporates findings into the plan of care: validates and revises expected outcomes based on assessment.
• Accurately and legibly documents all patient care activities, including but not limited to, wound assessment, patient care teaching, demonstrated progress toward goals, medication administration, nursing flow sheets and all assessment forms.
• Delegates tasks to the health care team members appropriately.

Patient population: Pediatric-Geriatric

Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5 possible 1:7 on Nights

EMR: EPIC

Dress code: Any color scrubs

Non-billable orientation: 8hrs

Call, call-back and charge: Not applicable for this need

OT: 1.25% multiplier

• 3+ years current MS experience [required]
• Previous travel experience required (at least 6 mos) [required]
• Tele/Progressive Care Experience - [PREFERRED]
• EPIC EMR experience - [REQUIRED]
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
• Perm address must be included in profile
• Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer/at interview. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
