Occupational Therapy Assistant — OTA/COTA
Pediatric Feeding Therapy Experience or Interest Preferred

Therapy & Wellness Connection is looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing pediatric therapy team. This position is a great fit for an OTA/COTA who has experience, training, or a strong interest in pediatric feeding therapy.

Our team supports children with sensory, motor, developmental, communication, and feeding needs in a collaborative, child-centered environment. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, flexible, motivated, and excited to help children build confidence, expand their diets, and make meaningful progress with mealtime skills.

The ideal candidate enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team and is comfortable collaborating with OTs, SLPs, BCBAs, families, and other professionals to support each child’s growth.

Responsibilities include:

Providing occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of an OTR/L

Supporting children with sensory processing, fine motor, self-care, and feeding-related goals

Assisting with pediatric feeding therapy interventions and mealtime skill development

Collaborating with families and team members to promote carryover of skills

Documenting treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner

Participating in team communication, planning, and professional growth opportunities

Qualifications:

Current Ohio OTA/COTA license or eligibility for licensure

Pediatric experience preferred

Feeding therapy experience, training, or strong interest preferred

Knowledge of sensory-based feeding approaches, oral motor development, and picky eating strategies is a plus

Strong communication and teamwork skills
