· Patient Ratios : 2:1

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : RNs only

· Type of equipment : phillips monitor

· Documentation system: Meditech

· Scheduling requirements: 3/12s or 4/9s

· Floating policy: may be required minimally

· Patient Experience requirements: previous PACU experience, 1 yr ICU

Advanced skills needed: management of post-op craniotomies, spine surgeries, thoracotomies, general GI/GU, vascular and bariatric, ALINE management, chest tube management, central line management
