Assembly Technician

Trillium Staffing is now hiring Assembly Technicians! The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling and installing a variety of signage components with accuracy and efficiency. This role requires solid experience with hand and power tools, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly. The technician plays a key role in ensuring quality standards, meeting production deadlines, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Essential Job Duties Read and interpret blueprints and specification manuals for assembly or construction tasks. Install piping, fixtures, wiring, and electrical components using hand tools or rivet guns. Operate metalworking machines such as milling or grinding machines to fabricate parts. Assemble and install electrical, LED, and other signage components. Utilize hand and power tools to secure parts and attach functional or cosmetic hardware. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Experience with operating various hand tools. Ability to pass pre-employment screenings. Skills Proficient in reading and using a tape measure accurately. Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and high level of integrity. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Working Conditions You will be required to wear safety glasses at all times and often required to wear cut resistant gloves and hearing protection. Repetitive motions may be required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts. Exposure to varying temperatures, including heat, humidity, and cold in an open shop environment. Ability to stand for extended periods.
