Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care from patient intake through discharge Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures Obtain patient histories and accurately document vital signs and medical information Practice Fear Free and low‑stress handling techniques to promote patient comfort and safety Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, phlebotomy, and diagnostic sample collection Assist with laboratory procedures and operate IDEXX in‑house laboratory equipment Obtain diagnostic radiographs Prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas for procedures Assist with anesthesia preparation, monitoring, and recoveryProvide patient monitoring and supportive care, including TPRs, pain scoring, and wound care Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian Educate clients about patient care, medications, discharge instructions, and preventive healthcare Maintain accurate and thorough patient medical records Keep treatment areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the day Collaborate with veterinarians and teammates to maintain an efficient workflow and positive hospital culture What You’ll Bring We’re looking for a Veterinary Technician who combines strong clinical skills with compassion, communication, dependability, and a team‑first mindset.
