Data Entry Coordinator

Job Overview Data Entry Specialist located in San Antonio, Texas. This full‑time onsite role operates Monday‑Friday 9‑5 CT. What You'll Do Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establish entry priorities. Process customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies, resolving discrepancies with standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader. Enter alphanumeric customer data. Maintain data‑entry requirements by following data‑program techniques and procedures. Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re‑entering information; combine data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purge duplicate records. Test system changes and upgrades by inputting new data and reviewing output. Secure information by completing database backups. Uphold operations by following policies and procedures; report needed changes. Maintain confidentiality to protect customer confidence and operations. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Perform any additional duties as assigned. What You'll Bring High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. Prior data‑entry experience preferred (6,000 ksph or higher with 100% accuracy). Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations preferred. Understanding of customer‑service principles and processes, including needs assessment, quality standards, and satisfaction evaluation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to monitor and assess performance to make improvements or take corrective action. Effective time‑management for self and others. Manual dexterity for repeated finger and wrist movements. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to compile, code, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, or verify information. Ability to record and maintain information in written or electronic form. Capacity to provide information to supervisors and co‑workers by phone, e‑mail, or in person.
