Principal FPGA Engineer

Salary: $125,000 - 165,000 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• We require 15+ years of experience in FPGA and embedded systems development.
• We need deep expertise in FPGA architecture and packet processing.
• We look for strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• We want experience leading large-scale technical initiatives.
• We require expert-level SystemVerilog knowledge.
• We need experience with advanced FPGA verification methods.
• We value expertise in simulation using Xcellium and familiarity with linting tools such as DVT.
• Experience with Xilinx/AMD Versal and Ultrascale+ devices is a plus.
• A strong understanding of AXI, HSS, and Ethernet protocols is required.
• A solid grasp of embedded systems is necessary.
• Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills are essential.
• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.

• We develop sophisticated FPGA packet-handling solutions, including high-speed processing and major data modification use cases.
• We provide technical direction for simulation and verification activities.

• We lead debugging and performance tuning initiatives.
• We collaborate with leadership on technical planning.
• We participate in and may lead Agile Scrum ceremonies.
