Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob descriptionPay:$19.00 per hourJob description:Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse environment. Your expertise in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling will ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation while maintaining safety standards and supporting overall warehouse management.Forklift Operator ResponsibilitiesWEIGHT DISTRIBUTION IS A MUST!!!Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipmentsPick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systemsLoad and unload materials from trucks using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and clamp trucksAssist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipmentsConduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning in compliance with OSHA standardsSupport warehouse distribution activities by managing materials handling tasks efficientlyCollaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage space and improve workflow processesForklift Operator RequirementsProven experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse or construction settingStrong knowledge of warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling techniquesMechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issuesFamiliarity with OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety protocolsExperience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems for order picking and inventory controlAbility to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periodsWarehouse or warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for understanding overall operationsJoin our team to play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods through our distribution network!
