If you have experience working with kids as a tutor, coach, teacher, youth leader, or other role in which you demonstrated a passion for investing in students' future, we want to talk to you.

While we work with students across the country, our immediate openings are:

Location:

• Kings County Office of Education, After School Program
• Hanford, CA 93230

Schedule:

• In-person
• Mon-Thurs, 3:00pm-5:00pm

Hours:

• 8-10 hours per week, with the possibility of additional virtual hours in the near future.

Pay:

• $22 per hour standard
• $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
• $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor 

  In this role, you will:

• ELA and Math support for Kindergarten through 8th grade students.
• Provide 1:1 or small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. 
• Keep track of daily attendance and feedback.
• Use technology to access our learning library.

• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• In this role you will need to be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
• You can provide 3 professional references
• You have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
• You have at least one year of student-related experience
• You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
• You are an effective communicator 
• You have reliable transportation
• You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
