We have a lot of companies in Nassau and Suffolk County that are hiring for quality inspectors. Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is a must have. Bonus points if you have a background in aerospace. Many of these companies are leaders in the industry that are looking for people to promote from within. Salary: $52,000 - $75,000 per year. Shift: First. Work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM. Education: High School. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Inspecting and testing incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods against blueprints and specifications. Using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Documenting inspection results and maintaining clear, accurate quality logs. Identifying defects or deviations, and isolating non-conforming materials to prevent them from shipping. Collaborating with production teams to troubleshoot recurring issues and improve overall manufacturing quality. The essential functions of this role include: Manual lifting up to 50lbs. Standing for 8 hours at one time.
