Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and identify their specific treatment needs. \n Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that center on trauma recovery and resilience-building. \n Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to foster patient healing. \n Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients process their trauma, enhance coping strategies, and support their overall healing journey. \n Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated patient care. \n Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being. \n Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to aid recovery. \n Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards. \n Participate in team meetings and case consultations, actively contributing to discussions about trauma-informed care practices. \n Stay updated on the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n You will primarily work with adults who have experienced various forms of trauma, focusing on those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and may have different cultural perspectives on mental health. Your role will be to understand and respect these differences while providing effective treatment tailored to each individual's needs. Qualifications\n \n A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n Possession of current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia. \n At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, specifically focusing on trauma. \n Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and a solid foundation in trauma-informed treatment modalities. \n Proven ability to deliver trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively. \n Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship with patients. \n Capacity to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations. \n Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications. \n A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience in community health settings or with underserved populations. \n Familiarity with different therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices focusing on trauma recovery. \n Participation in professional organizations or continuing education related to trauma-informed care. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000 annually.
