ARRT CT Technologist

Join a dedicated healthcare team as an ARRT CT Technologist, providing top-quality diagnostic imaging services using ionizing radiation to produce detailed cross-sectional images. In this role, you will perform computed tomography procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to radiation protection principles. Responsibilities include preparing patients, selecting appropriate exam protocols, assisting with interventional CT procedures, and administering contrast media as prescribed. You will also evaluate image quality, maintain equipment, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with graduation from an accredited School of Radiographic Technology. Candidates must hold the R.T. (R) ARRT credential or equivalent. Experience: Prior experience as a radiographer with a solid understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and CT procedures is essential. Computer proficiency is also necessary. Requirements: Certification by the relevant state authority and maintenance of R.T. (R) ARRT credentials in good standing are mandatory. Candidates must obtain or maintain the R.T. (R) (CT) credential within two years of employment.
