Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health ED Hold unit position, requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and CPI certification.

Details

• Work is performed in the Behavioral Health ED Hold unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift hours are 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Emergency Dept nursing required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• CPI certification required; SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI
• TNCC certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
