Full-Time Receptionist – Long-Term Care Facility

Location: Coventry, RI

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Full-Time Receptionist to join our team at a long-term care facility. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff, so we are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to keep the front desk running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Greet residents, families, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer and direct phone calls appropriately
• Assist visitors with sign-in procedures and general questions
• Provide basic administrative support to facility leadership and departments
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk/reception area
• Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
• Help with filing, copying, scanning, and data entry as needed
• Communicate clearly with staff, residents, and families
• Follow facility policies and maintain confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous receptionist, front desk, or administrative experience preferred
• Experience in a nursing home, long-term care facility, healthcare setting, or medical office is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional, dependable, and organized
• Comfortable answering phones and working with visitors
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment

Schedule:

• Full-time position

Compensation:

• $19–$21 per hour, based on experience
