The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care to a diverse population, ensuring safety and effective treatment protocols are followed. Unit Details\n \n Number of Beds: 101 \n Patient Ratios: Typically 4:1; up to 7:1 for behavioral holds \n Available Staff: Technicians, Unit Clerks on days and nights \n Documentation System: Cerner \n Scheduling: Requires availability every other weekend; must be flexible to meet department needs \n Floating Policy: Open to floating within the Emergency Department \n Responsibilities\n \n Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department \n Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes \n Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology in patient care \n Provide support and education to patients and families during difficult times \n Practice exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and staff \n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting \n Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred \n Ability to demonstrate teamwork and provide real-time feedback \n Flexibility to adapt to various areas within the Emergency Department \n Certifications required before hire: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS; ENPC within 90 days of hire \n Dress Code\n Required uniform: Navy scrubs Team Environment\n This department is known for its strong teamwork and welcoming culture.
