About the Opportunity/Position Highlights

Level 1 Trauma facility

• Opportunities include Cardiac, Peds and OBGYN, including administration of regional anesthesia and management of labor epidural service, Pediatrics, Neonates, NORA (non-OR anesthesia)
• Shift opportunities offer a wide variety including days, afternoons, nights, overnight call, with possibilities of 8, 10, 12, 24-hour options, and optional OT.
• Concentration in Adult/Peds hearts, Liver Transplant, OB and overnight call available.
• Opportunity to participate in committees, teaching opportunities available for varied allied health care learners as well as SRNAs from the CMC/UNCC Nurse Anesthesia Program.

Candidate Highlights

NC RN licensure required. Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia required. CRNA licensure required. BLS and ACLS PALS from AHA required

Ability to do Peds liver transplants, Peds cardiac

Ability to do spinals and epidurals

CMC serves as the region's only Level 1 trauma center and is an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas and liver. It also serve as one of North Carolina's 5 Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospitals, providing residency training for more than 200 physicians in 15 specialties and serve as a regional campus for Wake Forest University School of Medicine, based in Winston-Salem, NC.

Atrium Health CMC: Handles 25,000 OR cases and 22,000 NORA (non-OR anesthesia cases) annually.
