Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload products, materials, and shipments from trucks and trailers. Transport materials to designated warehouse, storage, or production locations. Stack, organize, and store inventory according to company procedures. Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment. Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and company policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Complete shipping, receiving, and warehouse documentation as required. Support general warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and staging orders. Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet productivity goals.

Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation. Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations. Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety. Previous forklift experience required. Forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Basic warehouse and inventory management experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred. Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
