Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Human Resources operations while serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers. 
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding to provide a positive employee experience. 
• Administer employee benefits and maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS. 
• Address payroll-related issues and employee questions accurately and in a timely manner. 
• Assist managers with employee relations matters by helping resolve questions, concerns, and workplace issues professionally and confidentially. 
• Support performance management initiatives, employee coaching, and leadership development efforts. 
• Maintain and communicate company policies while promoting a positive, respectful workplace culture. 
• Assist      with recruiting activities, interview coordination, and hiring support as needed. 
• Support compensation administration, organizational changes, and other HR initiatives. 
• Coordinate employee training programs, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and documentation. 
• Support leadership development initiatives and employee development programs.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent HR experience will also be considered.

Experience

• 2–4 years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist or similar HR role. 
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law fundamentals. 
• Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR compliance. 
• Experience within HVAC, construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, or industrial environments is highly desirable.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Ability to build strong relationships with employees and leaders at all levels. 
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities. 
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms; Paylocity experience is a plus.
