Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with potential to float to other units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Rotate holiday coverage as required, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing; travel experience accepted toward this requirement
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• No open licensing or background case hits; facility does not accept any license hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation in an acute care environment
