LPN Behavioral Health Emergency Department

Location In Nature Hall BH ED at Main Campus Dearth Tower Schedule Work schedule will be Full-time on the Night Shift, 3 twelve hour shifts a week, rotating weekends. Summary Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with prescribed hospital policy under the direction of the R.N. Other Information Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with parents and families. Must demonstrate knowledge of medical equipment required in specific units. Must have ability to work with patient charts, nursing care plans and computers. Education Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing. Experience 2 years experience preferred; experience in pediatrics preferred. Licenses, Certifications, and Registries BCLS certified. Current Alabama LPN Licensure required. Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications Essential: Licensed Practical Nurse AL Only or any of the following equivalent qualifications below: Licensed Practical Nurse AL NLC Multi State Licensed Practical Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State Nonessential: Basic Life Support Education with Equivalent Qualifications Nonessential: Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing #J-18808-Ljbffr
