Managed Care Specialist

Nashville, TN

Role Type: Hybrid (Local candidates to Middle Tennessee required for downtown Nashville office commutes)
Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week)
Training: Up to 6 weeks of mandatory prescheduled virtual/in-office training (full daily attendance required; no preplanned PTO permitted during training weeks)

Key Responsibilities

Eligibility & Casework: Determine individual and family eligibility for care programs; manage casework with accurate documentation and prompt resolution.
Legal Support: Conduct client interviews, collect facts, compile case data, perform legal research, analyze legal documents, and draft recommendations for attorneys.
Coordination: Assist in coordinating schedules, work efficiently across multiple databases, and participate in workgroup discussions.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Experience: Paralegal background, legal environment work experience, or customer service/call center experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and database navigation.
Core Competencies: Strong time management, organization, meticulous attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, and stellar communication skills.
