Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating call and weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 13-bed Emergency Department with 2 Trauma bays
• Assess, monitor, and respond to patients presenting with emergent and non-emergent conditions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Participate in rotating call and weekend coverage as scheduled
• Adhere to all facility policies, protocols, and trauma center standards

Required Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN license in good standing, or ability to obtain
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of RN Emergency Department experience
• Flu vaccination required (mandatory; no declinations accepted) – must be in compliance from October 1st through April 1st

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a trauma-designated facility
• Familiarity with high-acuity emergency patient populations
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in fast-paced environments
