Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled RN Circulator with operating room experience to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will comfortably circulate and scrub across various specialties, supporting procedures efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures including General, GYN, Orthopedic, Urology, Podiatry, and Endoscopy cases.
• Assist with C-sections and other obstetric surgeries, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary supplies and equipment prior to procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with safety standards throughout surgeries.
• Provide support to surgeons and assist with patient positioning, prepping, and instrument management.
• Document clinical activities accurately in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NC license or compact license at time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years OR experience, including circulating and scrubbing skills.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Demonstrate ability to work day shifts Monday through Friday with call and weekend requirements.
• Able to float within scope and accommodate block scheduling if needed.
