Medical Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and front end support in a fast paced outpatient setting. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide clinical support including vital signs, screenings, specimen collection, urine drug screens, and point of care testing
• Assist with documentation, EMR tasks, prior authorizations, refill workflows, and patient communication
• Cross cover front desk functions including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and check in and check out
• Manage calls, voicemails, and patient messages to ensure timely follow up
• Support patient flow across psychiatry, addiction services, and related programs
• Maintain supplies, documentation, and compliance with clinic standards

Qualifications include:

• Medical Assistant certification required CMA, RMA, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient or ambulatory experience
• BLS certification required or obtained during onboarding
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills

Preferred:

• Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, or addiction services
• Experience with EMR systems, prior authorizations, and patient registration workflows

Yearly salary: $48,540 - $59,327
