Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working with business and operational data, building reports and dashboards, performing data analysis, and translating findings into clear business insights.

This role will work closely with business, operations, and technical teams to understand reporting requirements, analyze data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, issues, and opportunities.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data for reporting and analysis.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools .
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports to support business and operational decisions.
• Identify data inconsistencies and work with technical teams to investigate and resolve data issues.
• Track key performance indicators and provide analysis of business and operational performance.
• Document reporting processes, data definitions, and analytical methodologies.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to business stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or a related field.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools .
• Strong knowledge of data analysis, reporting, data validation, and KPI development.
• Experience working with large or complex datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python for data analysis or automation.
• Experience with Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and advanced formulas.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, or cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.

Work Location

This is an onsite position in Tampa, Florida . Candidates should be able to work onsite in Tampa on a regular basis.
