American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift position at a teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of current RRT experience.

Work in the Respiratory Therapy unit of a 298-bed teaching hospital

12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

36-hour guaranteed work week

Every other weekend required, with holiday work as needed

No call requirements

License required if applicable

Massachusetts RRT license required

Active RRT certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)

Active BLS certification (AHA)

Minimum 2 years of current RRT experience required

CRTs will not be considered for this position

Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

ACLS and PALS certifications preferred

Must have own vehicle for this assignment

Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required

Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend

Travelers may not take all holidays off

No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and all requests must be submitted at time of profile submission

Scheduling and RTO requests made after offer or at interview will not be approved and may lead to a rescinded offer
