Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and executing repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal production downtime.
Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose components such as motors, gauges, pumps, conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and automated equipment (PLCs and VFDs).
• Execute repairs to maintain equipment performance and minimize production downtime.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of Maintenance Mechanic experience, preferably in a food production setting.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical components.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance technician.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
