Role Overview

As an MRI Technologist, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards . This role requires strong technical expertise, adaptability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans across multiple specialties including neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, and vascular imaging
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Administer contrast media and start IVs as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic (preferred) and PACS systems
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and MRI best practices
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams

Procedures & Imaging Expertise

• Abdomen & Pelvis: Abdomen, Male & Female Pelvis
• Neuro: Brain, face, and soft tissue neck
• Spine: Cervical, thoracic, lumbar
• Chest & Breast Imaging
• Musculoskeletal: Hip, knee, shoulder
• Advanced Imaging Techniques:
  • Diffusion imaging
  • Gradient echo
  • Spectroscopy
  • MIP & MPR reconstructions
  • MR angiography (peripheral runoff)
  • CINE CSF flow studies
  • T1/T2 weighted imaging

Work Environment

• Adult acute care, outpatient, and ER/trauma settings
• Patient populations: Adolescents, adults, geriatrics (pediatrics/neonates preferred experience)
• Floating required between outpatient imaging center (OIC) and hospital
• Occasional on-call coverage as needed

✅ Requirements

Must-Have:

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience
• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT certification
• BLS Certification
• Experience with contrast administration and IV starts

Preferred:

• Trauma Level I experience
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Strong background in advanced MRI procedures

Ideal Candidate

• Detail-oriented with strong technical skills
• Excellent patient care and communication abilities
• Adaptable and comfortable in fast-paced environments
• Team player with the ability to work independently
