### Clinical Nurse – Operating Room (Josie Robertson Surgery Center)

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Clinical Nurse at our Josie Robertson Surgery Center. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact in our Operating Room.

Role Overview:

- Provide primary nursing care in the Josie Robertson Surgery Center as needed (Ambulatory Surgery). - Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are sterile and ready. - Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infections. - Ensure that the surgical team adheres to aseptic techniques. - Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants. - Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during the procedure. - Monitor the patient's vital signs and communicate any changes to the surgical team. - Act as the patient's advocate, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the procedure. - Accurately document the surgical procedure, including the instruments used, the patient's condition, and any occurrences during surgery.

Key Qualifications:

- NYS RN license & registration; CNOR certification highly preferred - BSN preferred; ASN - Minimum of 1 year of operating room RN experience in an acute care setting required
