Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU & Adult RRT

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

6:30 PM - 7 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist with NICU and adult experience to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages across varied settings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assessments and manage respiratory therapy treatments for patients in NICU and adult care.
  • Assist with intubation and manage ventilation settings as needed.
  • Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and nebulizer treatments.
  • Ensure adherence to patient care protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in ICU and NICU settings.
  • Current RRT certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to draw ABGs and perform necessary respiratory protocols.
