Hilltop Healthcare & Rehabilitation is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in Altoona, PA! We're looking for compassionate and dependable LPNs to join our supportive nursing team. New graduate LPNs are welcome, and qualified candidates may be able to start as early as next week. Available Shifts: PRN LPN Pay & Incentives $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible employees Attendance Bonus: Earn an additional $2/hour when you work all scheduled shifts during a pay period with no call-outs Shift Differentials up to $2/hour DailyPay Option No-Frills Options: Additional $1/hour for opting out of insurance and additional $1/hour for opting out of PTO, subject to eligibility requirements Health, Vision & Dental Insurance Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Weekly Staff Appreciation Events Comfortable staffing ratios Supportive team environment About the Position As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Hilltop Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you'll provide hands-on nursing care to our residents while working alongside our nursing team and other healthcare professionals. We're looking for LPNs who are passionate about working with seniors and committed to providing safe, compassionate and quality care. LPN Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards. Monitor residents' vital signs and changes in condition and report concerns appropriately. Assist with developing and implementing individualized care plans. Provide direct resident care and assist with activities of daily living as needed. Perform routine diagnostic tests and assist with procedures. Supervise and provide direction to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Maintain accurate and timely resident documentation. Promote a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents. Collaborate with RNs, physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide quality resident care. Assist with resident admissions, transfers and discharges. Qualifications Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania. Compassionate and dependable approach to resident care. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
