Job Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

Shifts from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, including weekend rotations.

Assignment Details

Float required to various units within the facility.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience in circulating for Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, GI, Spine, and Podiatry preferred
• Ability to handle call responsibilities independently
• Prior experience in a community hospital setting is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and create individualized care plans
• Provide direct care and support to patients and their families
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and health maintenance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention protocols
