Overview Online Software and Computing Tutor job at Georgetown Learning Centers. Remote. ThinkingStorm is a national online tutoring company seeking writers to conduct live online tutoring sessions from home. Responsibilities Conduct live online tutoring sessions via ThinkingStorm’s system. Provide tutoring in software and computing topics, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Software, general computing skills, and introductory programming courses. Adapt instruction to a variety of technical computing topics to support diverse student needs. Schedule sessions flexibly to align with personal commitments within patient limits of the role. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field. Experience with tutoring or teaching, in addition to academic experience, is preferred. Competency across a range of topics related to computing and technology. Ability to assist students in a variety of technical computing skills. Time Commitment & Compensation Desired Time Commitment: Minimum 5-10 hours per week; up to 20 hours per week with broader subject competency. Compensation: $20-22/hour (per hour rate).
