Locum Physician Neuro Hospitalist

We are seeking a Board-Certified Neuro Hospitalist for a locum inpatient opportunity in Youngstown, Ohio. This role involves managing complex neurological conditions in an adult hospital setting with strong APP support.

Practice Highlights

• Hospital-based inpatient setting

• Adult patient population

• Average daily volume:

  • Admissions: 910 per day

  • ICU patients: ~10 per day

  • ED consults: 25 per day

• 20 ICU beds

• APP coverage available

• No supervision of other providers required

• EPIC EMR

• Areas of rounding include all adult floors

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified REQUIRED

• Active Ohio medical license REQUIRED

• BLS & ACLS REQUIRED

• COVID vaccine REQUIRED (noted at time of name clear)

• Flu vaccine REQUIRED at credentialing

• NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days REQUIRED at submission

Schedule & Coverage

• Inpatient neuro hospitalist coverage

• Estimated credentialing time: 6090 days

• No call supervision responsibilities
