Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their team.We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our Litigation and General Business practice groups. You'll leverage technology to ensure efficient operations and provide comprehensive legal support to our attorneys.
- Utilize technology to optimize attorney workflows.
- Prepare and edit legal documents, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Manage electronic and paper filings, including e-filing in state courts.
- Coordinate attorney calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel.
- Maintain client contact lists and manage attorney timesheets.
- Process expense reimbursements for attorneys and clients.
- Work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- High school diploma (Associate's degree preferred).
- 3+ years of legal secretarial experience (negotiable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PDF software.
- Solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication, grammar, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, printers, fax machines, and phones.
