This position involves providing specialized care for high-risk obstetrics and postpartum patients in a facility with comprehensive maternity services. The role requires experienced professionals to support the unit's multiple rooms and advanced monitoring systems. Job Details Position Description: L&D Nurse with extensive experience in high-risk obstetrics and newborn care. The role involves working nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Certifications in NRP, ACLS, BLS, and fetal monitoring. A minimum of 5 years experience in high-risk labor and delivery. Valid licensure as a healthcare professional in the applicable state. Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Must have prior travel experience. Duties include caring for high-risk mothers and newborns, managing vents, epidural, and PAS pumps, and providing maternal and neonatal assessments. Call rotation required, including a 4-hour mandate if needed. Pat Pop: high risk. Vents: alaris pumps, epidural pumps, and PAS lower extremity pumps. IVs to interview/Manager to Offer. Mandatory overtime during the assignment, with inclusion in the rotation pool for additional hours as needed.
