The Lead Technician is the on-site authority responsible for executing high-quality exterior cleaning services, managing field technicians, and ensuring every job meets Gorilla’s premium standards. This role operates with high autonomy—leading crews, enforcing safety, engaging customers, and driving revenue through professional upselling.

You are the face of Gorilla Property Services in the field. When you arrive on-site, customers should immediately feel confident they are working with a trained, capable, and professional team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Operations & Service Execution

• Perform and oversee all exterior cleaning services:
• • Pressure washing (commercial, residential, industrial)
  • Soft washing (roofs, siding, delicate surfaces)
  • Window cleaning (low and high access)
  • Gutter cleaning
  • Graffiti removal
  • Christmas light installation
  • Dryer vent cleaning
  • General exterior property maintenance
• Review daily job scopes and ensure accurate execution.
• Adjust methods based on surface type, weather, and site conditions.
• Ensure proper use of equipment, chemicals, and cleaning techniques.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality results across all job sites.

2. Crew Leadership

• Lead and supervise technicians on-site.
• Assign roles and responsibilities for each job.
• Train new hires on systems, safety, and quality standards.
• Monitor team performance and enforce accountability.
• Resolve on-site issues quickly and professionally.
• Maintain a positive, productive work environment.

3. Revenue Generation & Upselling

• Identify additional service opportunities while on-site.
• Inspect properties for preventative maintenance or recurring service needs.
• Communicate recommendations clearly and professionally to clients.
• Provide on-the-spot pricing or coordinate with the office.
• Document upsell opportunities and outcomes in the CRM.
• Contribute directly to increasing average job size and territory revenue.

4. Quality Control & Standards Enforcement

• Perform detailed final inspections before leaving each site.
• Correct deficiencies immediately.
• Maintain consistency across all crews and job types.

5. Health & Safety Compliance

• Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA-aligned procedures.
• Conduct site hazard assessments before starting work.
• Ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
• Safely operate ladders, lifts, and equipment.
• Report incidents, near misses, or hazards promptly.

6. Customer Experience & Communication

• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact.
• Communicate clearly before, during, and after job completion.
• Handle questions, concerns, and change requests.
• Ensure customer satisfaction before leaving the site.
• Represent the brand professionally at all times.

7. Equipment & Vehicle Management

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of vehicles and trailers.
• Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Ensure tools, chemicals, and supplies are stocked.
• Report repair or replacement needs promptly.

8. Job Tracking & Reporting

• Use Gorilla Pro CRM to:
• • Review schedules and job details
  • Track job progress and completion
  • Upload before/after photos
  • Record notes, upsells, and job changes
  • Report daily production metrics
  • Document issues, delays, or scope changes

9. Productivity & Time Management

• Complete jobs within allocated timeframes.
• Optimize workflow and crew efficiency.
• Reduce downtime and unnecessary delays.
• Align labor hours with job estimates.
