Working closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other members of the oncology team, you will provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring the safe and accurate delivery of prescribed treatments. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients throughout their cancer care journey. **Schedule*** Hours may vary based on patient volume and departmental needs.* Position based in Quincy, Illinois.* Collaborative oncology environment focused on delivering high-quality cancer care and exceptional patient experiences. **Primary Responsibilities*** Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.* Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to ensure precise treatment delivery.* Review treatment plans and verify treatment parameters prior to administration.* Monitor patients during treatment and respond appropriately to patient needs and concerns.* Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures, expectations, and side effect management.* Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation within the electronic medical record and radiation oncology systems.* Collaborate with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.* Perform quality assurance checks and follow established safety protocols and regulatory requirements.* Maintain treatment equipment and report operational concerns as appropriate.* Provide compassionate support to patients throughout their treatment experience.* Perform other duties as assigned to support radiation oncology operations. **Qualifications*** Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program required.* Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy [ARRT(T)] required.* Current state licensure, if applicable, required.* Current CPR certification required.* Previous radiation therapy experience preferred.* Strong knowledge of radiation therapy principles, patient positioning, treatment delivery, and safety practices.* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.* Commitment to providing safe, high-quality, compassionate patient care. **Benefits*** Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance.* Access to a mental health benefit at no cost.* Employer provided life and disability insurance.* $5,250 Tuition Reimbursement per year.* Immediate 401(k) match.* 40 hours paid volunteer time off.* A culture committed to community engagement and social impact.* Up to 12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay and a financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non-physician team members once eligibility requirements are met. The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of **$35.17 - $52.76 per hour**, with actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
