Registered Nurse

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit. This position requires the ability to work nights on a full-time schedule of 4 shifts per week. The nurse will be responsible for caring for patients requiring intensive monitoring and complex medical management. Patient types include heavy neuro trauma, neurosurgery, craniectomy, and orthopedic cases. The RN-to-patient ratio will be 1:5 to 1:6. The nurse will be expected to float across various units as needed. The use of specialty equipment, including telemetry and chest tubes, is required. Candidates must have strong skills in assessing and managing patients in a progressive care environment. Experience with electronic medical records is essential. A professional commitment to ongoing education and improvement in nursing practice is expected.
