Sentara BelleHarbour Emergency Department is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department! Full Time- night shift (7p to 7A). Weekend Requirement : Every third weekend Required Call : Full Time nurses have 24 hours of required call per 6 weeks. Part Time does 12 hours. Experienced Nurse Orientation: Experienced Registered Nurses can expect an orientation period of 10 weeks on the unit. Sign on Bonus up to $20,000 available for qualified candidates! The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
