Advanced Part Time Weekend Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Cardiology 1 Weekend/Month $100

Job Description

We are seeking a part time WEEKEND Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for Inpatient hospital based cardiology consultant.

Schedule: One weekend (Sat, Sun)/ Every 4 weeks

Experience in Cardiology preferred

*Patient care and good interpersonal skills are most important in our practice*

Pay: $100.00 - $115.00 per hour

Responsibilities Include:

• Take initial patient histories and performs physical examinations.
\n
• Initiate, document and communicate the plan of care and follows-up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients.
\n
• Perform daily patient rounds.
\n
• Write orders for medications, laboratory work and diagnostic tests. Interprets laboratory and test results.
\n
• Confer with attending physicians, midlevel providers, nursing staff and/or other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New York State
\n
• Current BLS certification, required
\n
• EMR Used: Epic
\n
• Patient Type: Adults
