Shreveport, LA Nursing Full-Time, Night, 7P-7A Posted 08/06/2026 Req # 10079 We are excited to open a brand-new 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit at Willis Knighton Bossier and are seeking a skilled and motivated Charge Nurse (RN) to lead our team on the night shift. Shift 12-hour days, 1845–0708 Schedule Rotating, with every other weekend off Position Summary The Charge Nurse provides leadership and clinical oversight for the unit, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care while supporting and guiding nursing staff. Responsibilities include: Coordinating daily unit operations and patient flow Assigning staff and managing workloads Supporting bedside staff and assisting with patient care as needed Promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellent patient outcomes Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Qualifications Current RN license Previous acute care experience required; Med-Surg experience preferred. Leadership or charge experience strongly preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills Why Join Us?
