Inpatient Cardiology APP: Lead Care & Collaboration

Advanced Practice Provider Inpatient Cardiology (26000503) Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for inpatient Cardiology at UH Cleveland Medical Center. The schedule is 12 hour day shifts, rotating weekends (every 3rd) and holidays. A Brief Overview The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed are as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Education Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required) Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) (Required) Experience & Qualifications 1+ years as a Physician Assistant (Preferred) 1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner (Preferred) Skills & Abilities Demonstrated leadership skills (Required proficiency) Demonstrated interpersonal relationship skills (Required proficiency) Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe (Required proficiency) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook (Required proficiency) Licenses and Certifications Physician Assistant (PA) (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred) Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (Required) Practice with a supervising physician (Required Upon Hire) Maintain national PA Certification (Required) Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required) Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr University Hospitals
