This unit supports 55–70 surgical cases daily and is looking for an experienced RN with strong IV skills and preoperative patient care experience. Responsibilities Provide preoperative nursing care for surgical patients Perform IV starts and patient assessments Prepare patients for a wide variety of surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff Float to the OR holding area when needed Requirements Active RN License (WV or Compact) BLS Certification Strong IV insertion skills Pre-op and surgical nursing experience required Robotics experience preferred Unit Highlights 15 operating suites 55–70 surgical cases per day Sunrise EMR (transitioning to Epic) Facility-provided scrubs Supportive perioperative team Schedule Day shifts (8 or 10 hours): 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Rotating weekends 1–2 second-call shifts per month Weekend call: 24-hour coverage (7:00 AM–7:00 AM) 30-minute call response time Submission Requirements Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Copy of an unexpired driver's license required at submission Any license disciplinary history must be disclosed at submission Why Apply? ✅ 13-week travel assignment ✅ Day shift schedule ✅ High-volume surgical environment ✅ Collaborative perioperative team ✅ Great opportunity for experienced Pre-Op RNs Apply today to secure your next Travel RN assignment in a fast-paced Surgical Center!
