Locally owned, family run business seeking two FULL-TIME Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialists

Job Overview:
As an Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist, you will deliver, unbox, and install major household appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves) at customer residences, ensuring they function safely according to manufacturer guidelines. Key responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, testing units, demonstrating operations, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
•\tSafely load appliances onto delivery trucks and transport them to customers’ homes.
•\tUnload appliances at customers’ residences and carefully move them to the designated installation area.
•\tInstall appliances according to manufacturer instructions and company guidelines, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
•\tTest appliances to verify that they are in working order before leaving customers’ homes.
•\tProvide demonstrations to customers on how to operate their newly installed appliances and answer any questions they may have.
•\tTroubleshoot and resolve any installation issues or complications that arise during the process.
•\tComplete required paperwork, such as delivery tickets and installations reports, accurately and promptly.
•\tMaintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment.
•\tAdhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations, at all times.

Requirements:
•\tHigh school diploma or equivalent.
•\tPrevious experience in appliance delivery and installation preferred.
•\tStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
•\tExcellent customer service and communication skills.
•\tFlexibility to work overtime or on weekends as needed.
•\tAbility to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks repeatedly throughout the day.
•\tDetail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
•\tValid driver’s license.
•\tDOT Health Card or willingness to obtain.
•\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
•\tKnowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems is a plus.
•\tKnowledge and ability to operate material handling equipment such as strap carts, shoulder harnesses, two-wheeled carts, forklifts and pallet jacks.

Physical Requirements:
•\tAbility to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
•\tStamina to stand, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
•\tManual dexterity to manipulate tools and appliances in tight spaces.
•\tAbility to handle large and bulky items as an individual or with assistance when necessary.

Wages:
•\t$18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Hours:
•\tMonday -Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
•\t40 hours per week.
•\tFlexibility to work overtime as needed.
